The Practice Review is written entirely by David D. Siegel, Distinguished Professor of Law Emeritus at the Albany Law School and the author of the hornbook, New York Practice 5th Ed.

Professor Siegel is also the author of extensive Commentaries on New York procedure in McKinney's New York Laws and on Federal jurisdiction and practice in the United States Code Annotated.

In addition to writing the New York State Law Digest, he is the author of Conflict of Laws in a Nutshell (3d Ed. West) and the New York State Bar Association's handbooks on Court of Appeals and Appellate Division practice.
